Promoting wellbeing - our reimagined way of living well

We are committed to making PwC a place where everyone’s life is well lived. We see wellness as a dynamic and fluid continuum influenced by many interconnected aspects of personal and professional life. That’s why we have created our very own “Wellness Ecosystem” platform, where people can get the support they need anywhere, anytime, to live healthily, work smart, and be socially connected and responsible.

Wellness Reimagined App

We place our people at the heart of our wellness ecosystem, enabled by technology, with wellness-related products and services available to our people for all stages of life. With wellness and flexibility being a top people priority for PwC, in 2022 we have revamped our very own Wellness Reimagined App, a seamless wellness hub to realise an all-in-one wellness experience. We provide different modules where our staff could easily navigate through and across various wellness programs along personalised wellness journey.

  • With Life Store, our people can mix and match their own wellness packages to fully utilise their annual wellness entitlement. Through partnering with various vendors, we also provide access to wellness products with corporate discounts, where our people can place orders and enjoy all at their fingertips.
  • Our Life Coach services provide a comprehensive 24/7 support that cater to the diverse needs of each of our people, plus vast resources of mindfulness audio practices, self-assessments, peer support groups, as well as bite-sized videos and tips to support our people.
  • With My Health and Life Tournament, our people can easily track their own health data and organise different types of health challenges to collaborate and compete with others.
  • We also encourage our people to use Life Club and We Friends to stay connected and build meaningful relationships with like-minded peers through exploring activities online and in-person.

WeFlex

Flexibility is not a new concept at PwC. We introduced everyday flexibility some years ago allowing our people the ability to choose where, when and how they work. The introduction of the WeFlex policy enabled us to pivot literally overnight to having over 22,000 people working seamlessly and remotely during the COVID-19 crisis, leveraging the principles of trust, connectivity, and ensuring quality delivery to our clients.

Activity Based Working

We know that the office will continue to serve an enduring purpose for the future of work. So we are redesigning and reconfiguring our workspaces to be a hub for our people to be the best they can be. Our offices are also an important consideration of our 2030 net zero emissions goal, and we are committed to creating low-carbon spaces wherever our offices are located.

We are embracing Activity Based Working (ABW) where our people can work in designated areas that cater to the requirements of their task. For example quiet areas for concentration and focused work, collaboration areas for team work, and flexible and tech-enabled meeting spaces to accommodate a diverse range of meetings, workshops and events. We also continue to invest heavily in a number of digital collaboration tools that are integrated within our offices, to facilitate seamless virtual and hybrid work.
