Tony is a Partner at PwC in the Transfer Pricing team in Beijing, China. Tony has been working in the transfer pricing team of PwC China since 2008, and he has been taking a secondment for 2 years working in the PwC transfer pricing team in Switzerland.
Tony gained profound experience in a variety of transfer pricing projects, such as transfer pricing planning and restructuring, global and local transfer pricing documentations, country-by-country reporting, as well as managing international tax controversies through the proactive use of Advance Pricing Arrangements (APAs), tax rulings and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).
Furthermore, Tony has valuable in-house experience as he spent several months at clients’ premises to assist clients in the design and implementation of complex business models globally (including the development of group/divisional transfer pricing manual and trainings).
Tony has served a number of clients from various industries such as automotive, pharmaceutical, technology, industrial products, etc. During his secondment in Switzerland, Tony worked on a number of Europe-based clients in the projects of transfer pricing planning, global structuring and documentation, etc.
Tony participated in various discussion with the Chinese tax authorities, and built up a good relationship with officials from both national and local level authorities. Tony holds the bachelor degree in Zhejiang University and the master degree in Taxation in the Golden Gate University in San Francisco, and is a Certified Tax Agent in China.
