Shelley is a tax partner focusing on China’s individual income tax services and has been working in Big Four accounting firm for 25 years.
Shelley has extensive experience in China tax compliance and tax advisory on personal tax matters for both expatriates and local staff as well as in dealing with the tax consultation for high-net wealth individuals.
Shelley is responsible for overseeing client service to a number of major clients and regularly represents clients in their dealings with the Chinese tax authorities.
Shelley is also a frequent speaker in various tax and international human resource seminars and conferences.
She obtained bachelor degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

Professional experience
Shelley has been providing integrated services for tax, social security, wages planning and global mobility issues for multinational and domestic companies, including cross-border individual income tax planning for employment and investment incomes, employee equity plan design/planning as well as relevant registration with tax bureau and State Administration of Foreign Exchange, consultation for the application of double taxation treaty, etc.
She has assisted many companies in conducting effective individual income tax planning as well as avoiding double taxation among different countries. Also, she has assisted companies and individuals to apply for favorable tax treatment, local subsidy and talent subsidy, etc.
Shelley’s clients involve different industries, including energy, manufacturing, entertainment, finance, high-tech, pharmaceutical, retail and catering industries, etc.
Shelley has been working as a key member of the Private Client Service team (for China’s individual income tax services) and has been working together with overseas offices in providing tax consultation services to different high-net-wealth individuals in relation to wealth management planning.
She cooperates with many trust companies, private banks and provides tax related consultation in relation to the trust set-up and operational issues.
