Penny Wei

Penny is a tax partner of US Tax Consulting Group in PricewaterhouseCoopers Shanghai office. She has over 10-year experience in providing US tax consulting and compliance services to clients in various industries including financial services, technology, biotech, international logistics, manufacturing and high net worth individuals.

Penny’s US tax consulting and compliance experience includes: providing US tax consulting and compliance services for USD private equity funds and advising on investor-related US tax matters, providing US tax advice on mergers and acquisitions, group restructuring, pre-IPO financing and restructuring and implementation of transactions, providing US federal and state income tax and state sales and use tax compliance services for multinational corporations, providing US tax planning and compliance services for high net worth individuals. Penny has accumulated extensive experience in US tax practice in the past working experience and has successfully assisted clients in responding to US federal and state tax audits and tax notices.

Penny earned her Bachelors in Accounting and Finance from University of International Business and Economics and Master in Accounting from Boston College, respectively. Penny is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, US.
