Nathan is the Partner of PwC’s Worldtrade Management Services (WMS) practice, based in Beijing, China.
Nathan has over 15 years experience in the field of Customs and international trade. Prior to joining PwC, Nathan was Section Chief of Tianjin Customs and responsible for Customs Valuation.
His industry experience includes pharmaceutical, medical device, information technology, electronics, automotive and chemicals. He is specialized in Customs Valuation, Tariff Classification, Certificate of Origin, Duty collection, Customs clearance, Processing Trade, Criminal and Administrative cases. Partially, he was the in-charge customs official of numerous customs valuation cases, and had rich experience practically and technically.
He participated in formulating Standard Program of Customs Valuation in China Customs, drafting Operation Manual of Duty Collection and Guidance of Valuation of Royalty fee. He was a part-time teacher on subject of Customs Valuation at Shanghai Customs College. In the period of working at GAC and Tianjin Customs, he established and maintains good network with both GAC and local Customs officials.
Nathan graduated from East China University of Science and Technology. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Chemical Engineering.
