Ms. Mendy Wang joined the Valuation Advisory Service of PwC in 2001, and has been serving MNCs and domestic clients with regard to its in-bound and out-bound transactions such as M&A, business restructuring and JV set up, etc. The valuation services cover a broad spectrum from deal valuation and price negotiation, financial modelling for project financing related to large infrastructure projects, post-deal purchase price allocation ("PPA"), goodwill impairment test and tax related valuations. In recent years, she actively involved in domestic clients' out-bound transactions acting as the deal advisor, valuation for State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission ("SASAC")'s filing purpose, and China Securities Regulatory Commission ("CSRC")'s approval purpose. Moreover, Ms. Wang also provides value measurements for listed companies' and pre-IPO companies' financial reporting purpose, such as PPA, impairment test, share-based payment, etc.
Ms. Wang has deep insights in business valuations, intangible asset valuations and option valuations. She is familiar with advanced valuation methodology and option pricing models. She has the industry expertise covering automotive & parts, TMT, retail & consumer, infrastructure & energy, financial services, etc. Furthermore, Ms. Wang has been invited by SASAC, CSRC, State Administration of Taxation ("SAT") and China Appraisal Society ("CAS") as the guest speaker to share her experience in cross-border M&A valuations, common pitfalls and challenges.
