Luke Groth is a Partner in PwC’s Forensic Services practice and leads the Hong Kong Forensic Technology team. He assists clients with complex engagements related to fraud, disputes and regulatory response - using computer forensics, fraud detection analytics and data-driven investigation techniques. Luke also runs PwC Hong Kong’s technology product offerings, including eDiscovery and other digital services.

In addition to investigations, Luke also has extensive experience in the design and implementation of analytical detection systems – including Fraud Detection, AML Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions Screening. He has led numerous projects to both implement, and review the effectiveness of, these types of systems.
Luke joined the PwC Forensics team in 2008 and previously worked in Sydney before moving to Hong Kong in 2015. He received his Bachelor of Computer Science from Macquarie University and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Luke has extensive experience hands-on experience with technology – he has written and deployed software applications and uses database scripting languages to analyse large volumes of data.
