Liang Jiang is a Partner in the Tax and Business Advisory Team at PwC China based in Shanghai, focusing on Corporate & Regulatory matters.

Before joining PwC, Liang worked as a partner at Xin Bai Law Firm. Prior to joining Xin Bai, Liang worked for Colin Ng LLP in its Singapore office and subsequently worked for Fangda Partners and King & Wood Mallesons in their respective Shanghai office.

Liang’s areas of expertise cover corporate and regulatory, M&A, restructuring and liquidation, foreign direct investment and outbound investment, including advising on the deal structures, due diligences, documentation, implementation and closings. Liang’s experience covers a wide array of sectors with a focus on healthcare, education and retail.

He was actively involved in the legislation process and regularly spoke at Shanghai government’s consultation meetings for legislation initiatives.

Liang graduated from Zhejiang University and then obtained Master of Laws (LLM) from National University of Singapore and Columbia Law School respectively. Between 2010 - 2012, he studied at China Europe International Business School and Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and received an MBA degree.

He has passed the China National Judicial Examination and is admitted to practice California law. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and holds the Certificate of ESG Investing from CFA.
