Emily joined PwC Hong Kong in 2003. She has accumulated extensive experience in advising local and multi-national clients in different industries with a focus on transportation and logistics as well as energy and utilities. Her other key clients including public sector service clients such as governmental bureau and statutory bodies in Hong Kong.
Emily has led and heavily involved in numerous mergers and acquisition projects and regional tax advisory assignments, such as IPO planning, corporate restructuring, cross-border cash pooling arrangements, etc. In 2016, Emily led a global merger and tax structuring exercise for two State-Owned Enterprises in the transportation and logistics industry which involved around 40 countries. In 2019, Emily led another restructuring project with over 50 entities by providing practical and tax-efficient restructuring advice and implementation support for a State-Owned Enterprise in the real estate industry.
Emily actively takes part in public speaking engagements for business associations or professional bodies in Mainland China and Hong Kong to share her practical experience in the context of Hong Kong tax planning and doing business in the ASEAN markets.
Emily holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Emily is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom, and a member of The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong and a Chartered Tax Adviser in Hong Kong.
Emily participates in business chamber. She is a committee member of the Taxation Committee, and the Shipping & Transport Committee for the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.
