Elle Zhou

Elle Zhou is a Partner of PwC China’s Tax & NewLaw Reporting & Strategy Services, with over 15 years of experience providing diversified legal, business and tax operation consulting services to multinational and domestic companies. Elle has gathered extensive professional experience in serving a wide spectrum of clients in various industries, including Internet, banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management industries, retail & consumer.

During her professional years in PwC, Elle has developed extensive experience in providing professional services, including enterprise legal management consulting and legal management platform implementation, enterprise operational compliance, enterprise tax operational improvement, compliance regulatory risk consulting for new business models, and more.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and other information technologies in the wave of digitisation, enterprise business models are constantly being reshaped, bringing about more challenges to internal functions like the in-house legal department. To better serve clients, Elle has been exploring innovative tax and legal management methods. She has led and participated in many enterprise legal digital transformation consulting and legal management platform implementation projects, internal process management optimisation consulting initiatives and relevant management platform implementation projects, including:

• Legal department optimisation consulting and legal management platform implementation for a leading manufacturing group;
• Digital management optimisation projects, involving in one-stop services for tax and legal management process review, tax and legal management consulting and tax and legal management platform implementation, which greatly improved the overall tax management efficiency for the back office of a famous rural bank;
• Tax management optimisation for a global leading cosmetics retail enterprise.

Elle received her Bachelor’s degree from the Shanghai International Studies University in China.  Elle is also a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Tax Agents.
