Edmond Chan

Edmond Chan is a partner of the Capital Market Services with vast experience in Mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas capital markets, industry sectors and international regulatory regimes. He has over 30 years of assurance and advisory experience. He is currently a member of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Since Edmond’s first position of responsibility in an IPO in 1992, he has become a leading IPO expert and has extensive experience in handling group reorganisation, financial reporting and other listing issues. He also serves on a regular basis as the engagement or quality review partner for IPOs and listed companies in different industries. He has a deep understanding of Hong Kong and international accounting and auditing standards and extensive experience in auditing and advising PRC enterprises.

Edmond has helped a number of clients to get ready for IPO over the years and worked on a number of listings in industries ranging from TMT to retail and consumer products, food and beverage, restaurant chain, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, bio-tech, financial services and many others. These have included private and state-owned enterprises, start-ups and spin-offs, as well as local and foreign businesses. He has taken local and foreign companies to market on the Main Board and Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and Singapore Stock Exchange, and has switched listings from Singapore and London to Hong Kong.
