Background
- Cherry is a Partner of PwC based in South China. She started her PwC career in 2008 and has specialised in the transfer pricing regime for more than 15 years.
- Cherry has been actively involved in assisting clients to provide defending services for transfer pricing audit cases, applying for APAs, analysing and evaluating transfer pricing risks, rationalising transfer pricing policies, preparing transfer pricing documentations.
- Cherry has served clients for various industries, including consumer products, TMT, industrial products and equipment, E-commerce, logistics, finance and other services like IT etc.
Relevant experiences
- Cherry has successfully assisted clients in closing various TP audit cases with significant tax saving in China including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhuhai, Shanghai, Xiamen and etc.. In addition, Cherry has also helped the clients in HK and Singapore to reply IRD / IRSA’s queries without further TP adjustment.
- Cherry has assisted in the conclusion of the first bilateral APA between China and Singapore, the first Sino-US bilateral APA in Guangdong Province, and the subsequent renewals, as well as the first joint-case with SAFE in Guangzhou, and help the company in achieving proper TP year-end adjustment.
- Cherry has also assisted various multinational companies for TP planning & policy set up in relation to their inbound investment in China, or outbound investment worldwide. Cherry is familiar with the tax incentive policies for different locations, like Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong and other Greater Bay Areas, so as to help identify the optimised TP models.
- Cherry also provides TP advices for pre-IPO companies to mitigate potential TP risks and to meet the TP compliance requirements worldwide
Qualifications
Cherry graduated from the Sun Yat-sen University with a Bachelor degree in law. She also holds a Master degree of Finance Management from Loughborough University in the UK.
