Billy Wong is a partner specialising in the Insurance sector of the Financial Services Practice in Hong Kong. He has 27 years of experience in providing assurance and advisory services to insurance companies in Hong Kong and in the region.

With his extensive experience in a wide variety of advisory and consultancy work for insurers, Billy has advised numerous major insurers on significant transactions, partnerships, regulatory compliance, IFRS and US GAAP conversion, capital management, and other projects. In addition to the recent engagements where Billy has been working with several insurers in the region on the implementation of IFRS 17, he has also been involved in multiple insurance IPOs, liquidations, and other projects.

Billy is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
