CSI is part of our graduate programme designed for overseas students in the United States and Canada who aspire to join us for full-time Associate positions in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, or Macau. Without the need to travel back to Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong or Macau, we will facilitate your 2024/2025 application with the online assessment and virtual interview process.
Both Bachelor and Master students who graduate from universities in the United States or Canada between August 2023 to August 2025 are welcome to apply. Eligibility to work in Chinese Mainland and Macau without a working visa is required. PwC will provide Hong Kong working visa sponsorship for selected Associates.

Edge is a market leading graduate programme developed by PwC Deals in EMEA and now extended to Asia Pacific to help launch graduate careers in an international Deals environment. It is a three-year graduate programme that features a blend of international development opportunities, rotations in a number of Deals business units (some of these may be international), regular professional and technical learning and the opportunity to complete a professional qualification.
When you complete the Edge programme and your professional qualification, you’ll be awarded with the PwC Advanced Certificate in Deals and have the opportunity to specialise in the business team and industry which best suits you in Deals. Accelerate your career during post-graduate/undergraduate study
Sprinter is a two to three year accelerated programme designed for individuals who wish to gain professional experience during their post-graduate/undergraduate study.
You will join our Assurance or Risk Assurance and share the same working experience, training and development as our Associates. High achievers who meet the performance criteria will stand a chance to be admitted as Associate Year 2 upon completion of the programme.​
Final year Bachelor students who have been accepted to a master programme in domestic university starting September 2025, first year Master students starting their studies in domestic university in September 2024, and second or third year bachelor students are welcome.​
PwC Hong Kong Assurance Apprenticeship Programme is a unique fast-track program to nurture future elites in the accounting profession, who will receive both formal and on-the-job training similar to ourgraduates, gain exposure to a wide range of projects and work with our very high-performing managers who are truly passionate about their work and talent development. ​
The programme is open for application by Year 2 undergraduate students in accounting. It requires participant to complete two full terms of employment (Jan - May 2025 & Jan - May 2026 ) whilst completing their undergraduate degree with 4 years (graduation in 2027). Upon successfully completing the programme with satisfactory performance, the Apprentices’ career will be fast-tracked by returning as Year 2 Associates upon graduation.​

Q1: I'm not a business student, and I have no relevant internship experience. Can I apply through PwC's website?
At PwC, we welcome students from all majors; such as art, history, science and engineering. For our employees, we will arrange online courses and training six months after the offer, this is to help them acquire basic financial knowledge, theory, and pass qualification examinations. Once you're fully on board, there will also be two weeks of in-house training.
We have a full set of classroom learning programmes tailored to your educational background, as well as on-the-job learning on various projects, which we believe will help you quickly adapt to work and guide you on your journey.
Q2: What is the online assessment?
To better tap into your potential, we have specially introduced an online assessment tool designed to delve into your abilities and characteristics, matching you with more suitable job opportunities. The online assessment we use consists of two parts: a cognitive ability test limited to 36 minutes, and an unrestricted-time occupational personality questionnaire, which can typically be completed in 20-30 minutes.​
Upon completion of the assessment, the system will provide immediate video feedback, allowing you to understand your potential strengths right away. This not only helps you to better showcase yourself in interviews but also offers valuable insights for your career planning.​
We believe that through this assessment, you will gain a clearer recognition of your unique value, while also providing us with an opportunity to discover and match your potential strengths.​​
Q3: Will the invitation of the online assessment be received after the online application is passed?​

Q1: What is the difference between CSI and the Graduate Programme in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau? Can I apply to both programmes at the same time?
CSI is part of our campus recruitment programme, designed for overseas students in the United States and Canada who would like to join us for full-time Associate positions in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong or Macau​. Without the need to travel, students can apply for opportunities through the CSI Programme while they are physically overseas. CSI will provide support to facilitate the online assessments and virtual interviews for your application.
The Graduate Programme is for the applicants who can make themselves physically available to attend the in-person interviews at our PwC offices in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong or Macau​.
You can only choose one of the two programmes (i.e. CSI or Graduate Programme) based on your physical availability for the interview process.
Q2: What is the latest expected graduation date that the CSI will accept?
We are currently recruiting for our Fall 2025 intake class. We will accept resumes from postgraduates and undergraduates who will graduate between August 2023 to August 2025. The expected commencement date will be from August to October 2025. If you have applied to a position before, please do submit your application again to ensure your application with the most updated resume has been received.​
Q3: I am not a resident in HK or Macau, can I still apply for a position there?
PwC Hong Kong firm will sponsor a Hong Kong working visa if an offer is extended to any candidates who require visa sponsorship. Exceptions apply to Macau, i.e. the firm cannot sponsor visa applications for candidates who apply for Macau opportunities.
Q4: Can new employees admitted through the CSI programme work or receive training in the U.S. or Canada?
Training will be provided by the firm in PwC Chinese Mainland/Hong Kong/Macau. New employees will start their career life in their located office in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong or Macau office, but not in the U.S. or Canada.
Q5: Is there a credit hour requirement to apply for positions at PwC Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong or Macau?
We do not have a credit requirement as there is no credit hour requirement for CICPA nor HKICPA. Students of all major backgrounds are welcome regardless of their majors. However, we prefer candidates with accounting, finance, business-related, data science, and STEM backgrounds.
Q1: Does PwC provide training for interns?
PwC offers a variety of internal training and development courses to help you to equip yourself with professional skills. On-the-job training, supervision and mentoring from colleagues are also integral to enhancing your skills in the Internship programme.
Q2: Is there any chance of being hired after the internship?
Students with excellent internship performance will have the opportunity to be put through the Fast Track program; going directly to the partner interview stage, and be considered for a full-time offer.

The PwC LEAP is a student-led club that provides a platform for undergraduates in Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong to unleash their creativity and develop integrated skills. The programme is designed to cultivate “future talent”, in which students' leadership, creativity and growth mindset are the focus of their development. As part of the LEAP family, you will be meeting other LEAPers from different regions, universities and majors, and work together to turn your ideas into reality with PwC's support.
Q2: Who is the target audience of the LEAP programme?
We welcome Year 1 and Year 2 bachelor students and Year 1 postgraduate students from Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong to apply for the LEAP programme. We do not have any limitations on your major; Business, Science, Engineering, Humanities and Language etc. students are all welcomed to apply.
Q3: If I applied for LEAP this year but didn’t get through the screening, will that affect my other applications in PwC?
No. We encourage students to try any programmes that they’re interested in.
Q4: How many rounds of interviews will there be for LEAP?
In general, we will assess students through 3 rounds of screening or interview; CV screening, first-round interview and final interview on LEAP Day.
Q5: What can I benefit from LEAP?
As a LEAPer, you will have the opportunity to get involved in different campus activities and get to know LEAPers from different regions. While interacting with one another, you will learn and grow through working and collaborating with different people.
