Hello, my name is Jim. I joined PwC in 2020 and I am part of the Assurance team.

I first got involved with PwC through the LEAP club, which was one of the highlights of my university life. The role of a PwC LEAPer gave me my first experience in the business world; and also the opportunity to create and participate in projects with excellent peers from all over China. The brainstorming for events and creative videos; and the orderly rolling out of offline projects all became a valuable experience for us. I spent more than 1,000 days and nights in LEAP, learning about PwC's rigorous thinking and innovative way of planning ideas, providing a continuous and strong boost for my personal development, and laid down a solid foundation for me to become a part of the PwC family.

After graduation, I officially joined Assurance at PwC. Audit work bridged me from textbook to real business scenarios. It is always satisfying going through financial statements, see the business stories behind the figures, and finally put what I have learned into practice.

I thought the transition from a student to a professional would be long and turbulent, but it turned out to be a smooth and rewarding Game Changer journey. After onboarding, PwC provides new joiners with comprehensive and professional training to help us to adapt quickly and better apply our expertise to actual work. The firm also has sophisticated business guidelines for different lines of business. Though we are newcomers, the experience of countless outstanding predecessors, cutting-edge research results of accounting standards, the latest information and up-to-date technologies are all available to us, enabling us to stand on the shoulders of giants and work more efficiently.
