Raymund Chao, the PwC Asia Pacific and China Chairman, has been granted as 2020 WEPs Award for Leadership Commitment issued by UN Women. It is a real recognition for his leading and exemplary role in persisting in integrating gender equality awareness into enterprise development strategy, and also an affirmation of PwC China's support on women's empowerment and corporate social responsibility.
In response to the policy from Beijing Chaoyang Disabled Persons’ Federation (BCDPF), we have donated 20 computers to special education schools for children’s elementary education in other poor areas.
We have many internal D&I volunteer activities every year, one of which has also won the PwC Foundation Award in 2020. All of the prizes have been donated to BCDPF for more D&I related activities and help make contribution to the society.
Employees from PwC north market participated in the fourth poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation project "love the corner and Chaoyang temperature" held by Chaoyang District. Our employees collectively raised funds to donate 80000 yuan to poor female students in Zhuozi County, Inner Mongolia.
